Description
Rare engraving compiled from information supplied by the first Governor of Australia, Arthur Phillip. This was the first account of the convict settlement soon after the landing of the First Fleet at Botany Bay.
The Mile Atoll shares maritime boundaries with the Wake Island to the north, Kiribati to the southeast and Nauru to the south.
