Rare c.18th engraving of the second printed image of the Channel-billed Cuckoo, the worlds largest cuckoo and often incorrectly described as a Hornbill due it’s large beak.

Common names: Channel-billed Cuckoo, Storm Bird, Fig Hawk and Flood Bird.
Modern binomial name: Scythrops novaehollandiae
