Description
Wonderful Vanity Fair Caricature of Charles Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot, Earl of Shrewsbury and Talbot in his automobile with his polo mallet beside him. For many years he was in business as a hansom cab owner, his vehicles marked “S.T” (for Shrewsbury and Talbot) and the horses “being of the best possible quality”, and he was the first owner to have cabs that were fitted with noiseless tyres operating in London and Paris.
