Description
Finely engraved C18th map of the Languedoc region of south eastern France, by Rigorbet Bonne the celebrated French map maker born in the village of Raucourt in the Ardennes. The region produces more wine than any other area in the world. With a Rocco title at lower right, comprising a crown, flower garlands and shell motives, set within an elaborate frame. A scale of distances is at top right.
