Rare lithograph of ‘Caub’, present day Kaub, Germany by the English artist, James Duffield Harding from Harding’s Sketches at Home and Abroad. This rare series of views were published by the great London lithographic firm of C. Hullmandel’s Lithographic Establishment.
Kaub is known for the castle Pfalz, or Burg Pfalzgrafenstein, situated on a rock in the middle of the Rhine which served as a toll gate.
