Description

Rare c.19th lithograph of the presumed extinct Toolache Wallaby or Grey’s Wallaby from John Gould’s epic work on Mammals of Australia published in London 1845-1863, the most important study on  Australian Fauna.

There were only 175 subscribers to the series and now most of those complete subscribed sets are in institutional collections making individual lithographs rare.
