Japanese military propaganda photograph of the ‘Peace Mission’ dispatched across Hong Kong’s harbour from Kowloon on 13 December 1941, with the hostage Edna Lee and her dachshunds, Otto and Mitzi. Her husband was private secretary to the Governor, Sir Mark Young.
