Description
Portrait of Philip Gidley King (1758-1808) who was the second Lieutenant on the flagship of the first fleet, HMS Sirius. King established the settlement at Norfolk Island arriving on 6 March 1788 and was the third Governor of New South Wales from 1800-1806.
