Fine etching by the master print maker John Barclay Godson of Lindisfarne, Hobart.
Godson first exhibited this etching; First Adelaide Exhibition of the Australasian Painter-Etchers’ Society Institute Building, Adelaide, 8 March 1922.
The suburb originally took its name from Lindisferne House, a property built in the 1820s near the suburb of Rosny. The name Lindisfarne was after a tidal Island (Holy Island) in Northumberland, England.
