Early c.19th engraved view of Point Piper from Shark Island, Sydney Harbour.
The large villa is Henrietta Villa which was built by John Piper on 190 acres of land granted to him in 1816 on Eliza Point, now Point Piper, for the site of his official residence. Here he built Henrietta Villa (also called the Naval Pavilion) at the cost of ₤10,000.
