Description
Rare lithograph of Rüdesheim the German wine making town in the Rhine Gorge, by the English artist, James Duffield Harding from Harding’s Sketches at Home and Abroad. This rare series of views were published by the great London lithographic firm of C. Hullmandel’s Lithographic Establishment.
Kaub is known for the castle Pfalz, or Burg Pfalzgrafenstein, situated on a rock in the middle of the Rhine which served as a toll gate.
