Early colonial engraving of the short horn bull, Tooran, bred by Mr. Allen at Hopkins River, near Warranambool, from Copson an imported shorthorn bull and a half-bred colonial cow.

In height he is 5ft. 61/2in. from the shoulder to the root of the tail, with a girth of 9ft. behind the forelegs, 8ft. over the hips and 9ft. 11in. around the middle. He weighed 2,200 lbs. when exhibited. He was the property of E. Wilson of the Melbourne Argus.
