From Vases from the Collection of Sir Henry Englefield, Bart. Englefield devoted his life to study and produced a number of archaeological works. He became a member of the Dilettanti Society, a society of noble gentleman which it’s 8217 members sponsored the study of ancient Greek and Roman art.
