Mid c.18th portrait of Vespasian (17 November AD 9 – 24 June 79)[2] Roman emperor from 69 to 79. The fourth and last in the Year of the Four Emperors, he founded the Flavian dynasty that ruled the Empire for 27 years.
Vespasian born at a Villa near Rieti, reigned 9 years,11 Months, 24 Days, died in the Year of Christ 79.
