Description
Scarce lithograph from the visit French expedition of exploration under the Command of Dumont D’Urville in the French frigate, the Astrolabe. The view is of an elegant four in hand driving along the Sydney harbour foreshore at the Botanic Gardens, Farm Cove, with Fort Macquarie in the background (now the Opera House) and to the very left is government house.
