Description
Scarce lithograph of South Head showing the French officers from the Astrolable sketching the scene at the Gap. The voyage of exploration was under the command of Dumont D’Urville which visited Sydney. This is the first issue of this lithograph identified by the name J.Tastu, Editeur at lower left.
